You could mellow out the legal way by getting a prescription of xanax. They start working right away and you won't be stressed out. Good luck!

My doctor says the same thing about me. He keeps telling me that I need to learn how to turn off my brain and the way that he suggests that I do this is to become so involved with something else that you don't think for a while. He also thinks that I should exercise to the point where I don't' stay up at night instead of sleeping. Some times it works and some times it doesn't. Most of the time it does help to relax me.

This might sound funny but go see a hypnotist,I did and I was so mellow for two days after and the stuff she put in my head stayed their and helps me sleep,I've done it to many and they all love it and come back for more, they get so relaxed that they can't hardly talk or stand when I bring them back and tell me they never felt anything like that before, when my son was ill just recently he made me do it three time in a couple hrs.draining for the person that does it bu so relaxing for the receiver...Mia

You do realize that a cat's level affection has nothing to do with the breed, right? Of course, certain breeds are marketed as having certain personality traits and things like that. But in the end, it comes down to the individual cat's personality. NOT the breed. I got my cat as a kitten from a shelter (adopted, not bought) and he's the most affectionate cat in the entire world. He's just a bengal/tabby mix. He had a brother from the same litter who hated people. It depends on the cat. My boyfriend has a Persian cat who also hates affection and people. You cannot base this off of the breed, and I really recommend adoption instead of purchasing.

well what you should do is when you are stressed think of something that makes you really happy and just zone out on that and that will help you to relax and well then just stay in that mode when you come out of the daydream and see if that works

Physical exercise, either at the gym or at home, running, jogging, whatever will get your mind focused on something else and relieve stress. Even playing sports is another way to do that.

There are different ways, so there is no one best way. There is only a best way for you. So you need to go out there and try diff. things and see what works best for you. Try exercise though. That seems to be a universal one!
