You do realize that not everyone here are Americans right?

I'm Canadian. I'm an Atheist/Wiccan and I'm a Liberal.

My husband is an American. His religious beliefs are much closer to Buddhism than anything else, though he grew up a Methodist Ministers son and spent most of his childhood in churchs. He is a Democrat.

One of the phenomenon noted by Atheists is that of the Christians who are also Conservatives/Republicans because the party's are so money/self oriented and Jesus wasn't.

Jesus was a Liberal/Democrat.

Its really strange that they would proclaim themselves to be caring Christians, yet oppose social programs that would make the lives of people better.

I believe that the best help that you could get is to forget some of the crazy statements that you have already made in your question. I do not know where you get the idea that most atheists are Republicans, or most Christians are democrats. Sounds like you need to do some more vital research.

I informed her that anybody hearts have been common to God which i do no longer think in any respect in spite of the undeniable fact that it replaced into reassuring to a guy or woman in misery. in spite of the undeniable fact that, if a Christian replaced into to ask questions which I see as conceited or self righteous i visit answer.

I'm a Christian and I refuse to claim loyalty to any political party because any of them can espouse ideas against the nature of God. In a Baptist church they tried to make me into a Republican. In a Pentecostal church they tried to make me into a Democrat. I would rather go by what is right and wrong.
