well, i've played the game before on this computer, downloaded for free. Got my full free hour and 5 minutes per execution. Game plays fine, no problems with anything... except the non-compatability must be the reason that i have to re-download the game every time i want to play it. (re-install, i guess).
i'd like to buy it, but i dont want to have to reinstall every time once i've bought it! any suggestions? Yahoo!'shelp menu didnt have anything on it i could find...

Yikes, that would be a pain to keep installing the game every time.
Have you tried downloading it from another site? Lots of sites have the same games, and maybe they have a version which is more compatible with Vista. (Maybe a long shot, but if it's a newer game you might be in luck.)

That's easy find a friend that has windos XP. Use his/her computer to download the game and then put it on a mem/ and take it to your computer and install it.
