Let's compare PS3 and XBOX 360:
Almost a third of XBOX 360 are malfunctioning right from the start. PS3 return rate is only around 0.2%.
Let's compare them
PS3 has 7+1 kernels in Cell processor, Xbox 360 -only 3x2
PS3 uses advanced tech called Blu-Ray, one disc can store up to 54 gb (in the future - up to 200 gb), Xbox 360 - regular dual DVD (9.5 gb).
Calculations per sec - PS3 - 51-billion-dot-product-operati... per second
Xbox 360 - 33.6-billion-dot-product-opera... per second
PS3 has full media support - USBs, built-in card reader (except 20 gb version), ability to use printer and so on.
Xbox 360 has USBs and only 2 memory slots.
PS3 supports up to 7 Bluetooth Controllers
Xbox 360 - up to 4 Controllers
PS3 - wi-fi included (except 20 gb version)
Xbox 360 - wi-fi will cost you around 100 $
Graphics are stronger in PS3, due to RSX chip, that was developed by Nvidia exclusively for PS3. To estimate its power (roughly) - take 8600 Ultra nvidia graphics card, multiply it by 2 - get a result, still PS3 stronger, because 8600 Ultra runs on 400 Mhz and RSX runs on 550 Mhz.
PS3 has a chip from AGEIA company. It does to physics of the game same thing GPU (videocard processor) does to graphics. This card is on sale for PC. The price is around 350$.
Xbox 360 is widely known for so-called "red ring of death" problem - it gets overheated easily. My PS3 was running for more than 8 hours non-stop with no problems. Sometimes Xbox 360 becomes so overheated, that thermopaste on CPU melts, drips on motherboard and successfully shortcircuits it.
Besides all of this, I've seen disassembled Xbox 360 - regular PC architecture - Billy Gates is an uninventive nerd (as usual).
When I saw disassembled PS3 - it was a surprise - smart architecture, good cooling (don't buy external PS3 coolers - they make everything worse - original system is good), etc.
In 2008 we'll get more than 300 games, including Metal Gear Solid 4 and other great exclusives. Here is the great link to the future PS3 releases. http://ps3.ign.com/index/release.html......
PS3 online world will be free, Xbox 360 - you have to pay.
In some countries people call Xbox 360 "Coffin 360".
The funniest thing, that right now there are no games for PS3, that show full potential of the console.
Sony expects PS3 to stay on the market for, at least, 7-10 years.
I didn't mention Wii, because it's so weak, no point to talk about it.

You need to keep your PS3 seriously. Why would you buy a 360 when it will probably die on you. And no, I'm not getting frustrated about the game situation for the PS3. I think that there are some good games already out and some even better ones on the way.
All the Xbox has is Halo 3, Bioshock, and Gears of War. I want to play games other than shooters and with the PS3, you'll get a way better variety in exclusive games.
To make a good PS3 exclusive game it takes time, a Xbox 360 game can be made in probably half the time because there is only so much they can do with a standard DVD.
If you sell your PS3 I'm almost certain that you will regret it because once some of the other PS3 exclusive games come out like Metal Gear Solid 4, God of War 3, The Getaway 3, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Gran Turismo 5, Final Fantasy XIII, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2 and more you'll be wishing you still had your PS3. The Xbox 360 doesn't even have half the number of great exclusive games coming out that the PS3 has coming out.

only because of fact the PS3 would not have any good video games out top now would not recommend it won't have a team of excellent video games interior the destiny. Get the main contemporary concern of Gamepro, the single with Nariko (Heavenly Sword, and get to appreciate her call because of fact she's the subsequent Kratos), on the canopy and take a glance interior the magazine. there's a team of excellent video games for the PS3 which would be released this 365 days. Gamepro estimates that there is approximately 80 one video games being released for the PS3, greater effective than the different consoles. only get the 360 too. Why the would desire to sell the PS3 to get a 360. i assumed Ninja Gaiden is an MS unique, and yet, I see Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3. Rumor is that lifeless starting to be 2 could be a PS3 unique. isn't lifeless starting to be a 360 unique? you want to appreciate why the 360 has no third occasion exclusives to lose to the PS3? ought to or no longer it is because of fact the 360 has very few third occasion exclusives? very few jap companies help the 360 for the reason this is a failure in Japan. The PS3 has outsold the 360 in a million day than the 360 has bought in over a 365 days in Japan.

Keep that PS3, the games will come like Killzone 2 and Gran Turismo 5. Not to mention you can use it as a computer and you could leave the PS3 on forever and it won't overheat while if you did the same with a 360 it would be fried. The PS3 also has the technology to push gaming farther with the 8 processor Cell chip and Blu-Ray discs that can hold 25-50GB of information where the 360 can only manage 8.5GB maximum on a disc. All that means developers will be able to push the envelope much further than the 360 in the future. In short don't sell your PS3 or you will regret it.

Well considering that there are over 2400 ps2 games I can play and 76 ps3 games I can play, plus I can go on the internet and play flash games or watch youtube videos...so I would have to say No i am not bored and how many games does the 360 have that are worth getting.. gears , halo, bioshock, All those games take what an afternoon to finish....so if you are a legit ps3 owner keep it and get a used 360 for $150 bucks...but rent the 360 games cause they don't take long to finish...

Dude, the only thing keeping XBox alive right now is the game library. But, thats going even out soon. REAL SOON. Like, by the end of the year, soon. After that, once the developers start to exploit the processing power and full Blu-Ray disc capacity, the 360 is going to get exposed as a much weaker system. 360 games will NEVER look as good as Heavenly Sword. Even when (not if) they start producing exclusively HD/DVD based video games.
By this time next year, PS3 will look compared to 360 the way 360 looks compared to Wii. Wait it out, dude! I promise it'll be worth it.

The PS3 is getting a steady influx of good games. Next week, it's Folklore, then there's Eye of Judgment, Guitar Hero III, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction at the end of the month.
Heavenly Sword just came out a few weeks ago.

No, you shouldn't sell it, later down the road i guarantee you that you are going to regret it. Plus new games are coming out like every day, in fact three games come out tomorrow 10/2. If you want a really good game i would suggest buying Heavenly Sword. I bought it Saturday and it is stunning. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is fun, and the sixaxis is just fun to use. I'm still playing it and so far it was way more than my money's worth.

NO! What is going to happen when you wanna watch a movie? PS3 has a integrated BluRay DVD/ REGULAR DVD Player. Xbox 360 you need to buy an extra HD DVD Player, and HD movies are great but not AS great as BluRay.
