about something that we can not fully prove to others is the real thing. Please someone explain to me why their religion is the right one, or none if your answer is so. I have been told so much about christians, seeing as I am one. But I never quite understood why we can't all agree on something. Yes I understand that everyone has free will to believe as they see fit, but which is the right belief? If we all feel so strongly about our own insights into this religion business, who is to say that one is wrong that yours is right. In all the religions that believe in one true god, why do they all believe it is someone different? Could it be that it is really the same god, but with a different name? To the athiests who are out there, I have seen so much "proof" that God is real, including personal experiences. What can you offer the proves their is no God, besides it is beyond scientific minds?

Just for the record I have never tried to press my believes onto someone. Simple because others who don't understand the true way of helping others understand our way by offering them the chance and letting them make the choice without pressure from us, doens't mean that I do. Please don't generlize me with all the other christians!

I think your wiser in your attitude than most. You may find it interesting that there are many christains who wonder everyday the same thing. And there are christains who believe strongly but cannot find the 'right' denomination. As for other faiths, I don't know the answer to that one either. I just trust that God knowing mans heart will judge well. He know who his people are, its us that can't see clearly so if we are sure of what we believe we expect others to as well we can not accept that God may have revealed himself to them differently. The reasons why we act like this are plentiful. Too numerouse to list .

That's just it, there is no "right" religion. Religion is just simply a person's way of honoring the one they believe is Creator. I'm sorry, but does there have to be a "right" one? The way I see it is any system of worship, honoring, rituals, etc. that a person performs to their Creator is the "right" way for them to do it. The only thing we all need to agree on is to let each other be and quit trying to quilt people into being or not being a certain way.

How in the heck did me and Argus wind up below that windbag? Man, it's been a long day.

Someone elses personal experiences don't count as proof for me. I have no way to validate it, measure, feel or see it. Likewise if I told you I had a personal experience with a flying pig, you would dismiss it. Here are my personal experiences with god: Hes never answered a prayer, shown me a sign, or otherwise spoke to me. Logically, why would you need a god during everyday life?

Everyone doesn't believe in some god(ess) or another. The only difference with Atheists is we include the one that the western world still clings to: the Christian God.

I could say I have tons of "personal experience" proof that Epona, the celtic goddess of horses, exists...because horses are drawn to me and I worship and praise her...so obviously this is her method of rewarding me...

But I bet you'd think I'm loony, huh?

Another thing, have you ever heard the term "burden of proof"? It means that you believe in the positive.."A god exists" and I belief in the lack of god, a negative.

The natural way of life is that you only begin to believe in something...when there is proof it exists.

IE: Until Coelacanths (spelling?) were found...we simply didn't believe they still existed. They were supposed to be fish that went extinct millions of years ago. No one went around screaming "Coelacanths don't exist!" because it was the natural assumption they didn't. Only when one, and then another, and then another were found did we question our original assumption.

We were Created as "Believers".

Your Always Believing SomeThing!
That is how we were created.

When we came into the Earth to be Born, GOD Almighty had to Leave us.
That left a hole in us to Fill Up.
People try to Fill it Up with just about AnyThing.
Drugs, Sex, Power, False Beliefs (religions)

GOD Almighty is the Only Thing that can Fill That Hole Up Exactly.

And HE has to have your Permission to be able to Come Back into your self (Spirit).

Jesus Christ, Risen from the Dead
Opened the Door for GOD Almighty(Jesus Christ) to Live Inside of US Again.
Jesus is the Only Door.

Because the stakes are so high. If there were nothing to be gained, nor lost, then there would be no reason to believe at all. Thus, once I have learned of this priceless treasure, I believe in it's existence more so than the very chair that I currently sit in.

I do not want to force my beliefs down anothers throat. I do challenge people to think about both science and religion.
