I get off work at 7am then I have an interview at 10:30am- when I'm typically sound asleep. I'll have a chance between work and the interview to get some breakfast and a cup of coffee, but I'm still worried I'll look tired and that will effect my chances of getting the job. Do you think I should mention I just got off work or will that seem like I'm fishing for pity?

yes, It will work on your side. Despite the fact that your interviewer will probably not notice that you are tired because you will be on an adrenalin high and trying to make a great impression, the interviewer will note how well you hold up and how alert you are despite the fact that you just worked all night. Just mention in passing not in a way that you think you might acheive sympathy....at the end of the interview would prob. be best. Make sure you are fresh and ready to go for your interview (don't drink to much coffee after your shift....you do need to sleep so you are ready for your present job) prepare and show your alertness by reading up on the company (website, recent news articles)
Good luck.

Don't just have coffee, do get some light breakfast like cereal and fruit as that will give you a boost that you need. When you speak about your current job, you might say something like "we are required to work all shifts and I am currently on the night shift". That will get the message across without seeming as if you are fishing for pity. Good luck.

Do you artwork? per danger he's attempting to get extra hours now so he components properly for you and the infant and not would desire to artwork lots after the infant is right here. My husband is busy at artwork as properly yet enable me show you how to recognize if I called for that reason, he might bypass away and be via my area in a heartbeat, you're no longer calling to speak related to the climate for goodness sake. Why does he would desire to be around at night, something would desire to ensue in the process the day too. Be grateful you have a stressful working guy and decrease him a harm. Plus at night you get the finished mattress to your self, that would desire to be so cool!!

It might adversely affect your chances of getting hired. Just go straight home after work, take a shower, and drink a couple of Mountain Dews or Red Bulls. Don't mention your night job. You'll be fine.

Your work will come up during your discussion.

I would use that in a positive note.

Think coffee. Sometimes, I am drinking a pepsi or coke on my way to my interview. Caffine does help.

I wouldn't say it, just do your best to look fresh. You may not look as tired as you think you do. Excitement might help keep you alert.

Don't mention it unless it comes up, in a natural manner.
