I was (blessed) at the age of 9 by being expelled from my Parrish... And so found reason!
I am 64 now... and so far I had the most rewarding, fruitful, and rich life... No...thanks to any Gods! Only thanks to reason and common sense.

I quit playing as a preteen. I was raised Christian, but started seriously doubting the ideology by age 10 and gave it up completely by age 12. Now, at age 22, I don't understand how my intelligent peers and elders can believe in the Christian ideology with any kind of certainty.

As a rational adult I believe that Christian belief in Jesus is not mythology it is belief in the truth of God's word. As a Christian I know my faith is based on fact not fiction.

I quit playing along with Christian mythology once I learned it was true. Since then, I have made it part of my life and I am helping spread its good news to others.

Rationally, you can think either way---It all makes sense
Personally, I dont think your logical enough or rational enough to understand, because you see religion in a way that you could never understand it.
Also, I dont think your rational enough to understand the point of religion or the point of anything. The point of religion is to be happier in it then out of it.
And I think if you were truley rational, you would understand that if you truley look around, you would understand that anything can be rational and that things are much more complex then we understand; but you just dont think like that---I think your not thinking about this rationally.
I rather believe in God then not believe in God, even if I didnt believe in God. I dont think you understand how beautiful it is to believe in something, even if wasnt rational. I can tell you that anyone who believes in something will be a happier person than someone who does not believe in something. And every action a human takes is to increase happiness hence its purpose---So I dont think you have not been rational enough to understand the fact that your logic is automatically correct because you think it is---things are much more complex if you truly look through your being.

once someone really truly looks within themselves and realizes that not everything they have been taught is the truth. And sometimes, even your own parents could be mistaken. its crazy how some people just believe stuff becuase they're parents do. Its almost like they are pre programed christian robots. THINK PEOPLE

Excuse me, but I am an adult who is rational and who knows how to think and who does so regularly (MANY times a day) and I am a 'believing Christian' (Catholic) ... and I do my best to 'live' my religion ... I do NOT 'evangelize' people to 'believe in Christ' but I do 'help' people in need or if I don't have what they need, I can give them 'good directions' to a place that doesn't require one to 'pray' or 'confess' before receiving aid. MOST of the time, that means I send them to a Catholic organization, but I MAKE SURE to say that they 'don't have to believe' to get help.
As for 'christian mythology' ... There is quite a bit of that in the books of the Bible, and it's there to 'teach us lessons' and I read my Bible (using 17 different translations at the same time) once every two years ... so I at least KNOW what is 'mythology' or 'stories' told to teach a lesson, and what is 'true' ... and I also read many books on Theology, from many different religions ... so I think that MY way is probably better than yours, which is 'making fun' of a subject you really do NOT understand.

I'm so glad I saw the light of atheism early. I became an atheist around age 14. Life is so much better. I cherish it a lot more, because I know that afterlife crap is a load of nonsense.
