Try to get more comfortable with your "bad hand," so you don't have a bad one. You might have a "better" one, or one you are more comfortable with, though. I like to have my stronger hand back, but there isn't a right or a wrong. I use jabs a few different ways, maybe this will help...1) as a feeler to know your distance, 2) use frequent, quick jabs to keep your opponent's mind occupied, and/or 3) a strong jab will knock his/her head back a little bit to follow with a cross

Good luck!

Rookie boxers have a tendency to try to put their strong hand front.

Heck Oscar de la hoya is a natural lefty, so when they changed him to a right handed stance, he was able to destroy oppoents living off his jab.
It was stiff and had the force of a mini lead.

But Id say its practice practice and more practice.
Footwork and hand work, and overall movement.

If youre a natural righty, then you'll want to learn tojab with your left and set your power punch with the right.

So learn the fundamentals first.
Then if you want to go both ways, then you can work on that.

But if youre natrually righty, then stick to a natrual right stance.
Because what will happen is your opponet will pick up that your jab is your strong hand, and will adjust his style accordingly.

If by good hand you mean your dominant hand (right hand for right-handers and left for southpaws), then you should use it for your power punches and leads. Use your non-dominant hand for your jabs. Though the orthodox stance lets you jab with the left, a lot of fighters, southpaws in particular, do otherwise. Manny Pacquiao is one classic example of a southpaw. He jabs with his right but has debilitating power with his left. If you can switch stances like Marvin Hagler, you're a rare find! Ha ha ha...

you should box with your strong hand to the rear, until later on the coach will teach you to fight either way anyway.

it all depends on preference, are you better with footwork south paw or regular, which do you feel quicker with, which feels more comfortable to you, etc.
