I don't think so. We are two sides of the same coin, we can't go far from each other. One defines the other in a sense. Anywhere where there are questions like "If we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys...?" you'll find an atheist!LOL.

This forum is called "Religion and Sprituality" not "Christian". The majority of people in the world are not Christian but follow many other religions. Why do you think Christianity should dominate this forum? Some religions, such as Buddhism are highly spiritual but atheistic in that they have no gods. Are these atheists to be denied access to a "Religion and Spirituality" forum? Some of you so-called Christians are very intolerant, which seems to go against the teachings of Christ. But what would I know, I'm an atheist.

Q: For Atheists: If someone you know, gave you a copy of the Bible, or even like a C.S. Lewis book, decorative cross or something of that sort, as a gift, would you be personally offended by that or would you be okay with that gift? A: Wouldn't bother me at all. It would probably be a waste of money on their part though as I already have a few bible versions.

No because although the Christians don't seem to realize this, atheists actually can contribute to religious and spiritual discussions and debates. It wouldn't be as much fun to hang out here, though, if we didn't have our own little civil war type of thing going on between the Christians and the atheists.

That's what's been said I suppose one finally caught on. I don't see the need to want to rid of atheists I mean are religions scared of having their religion, faith and god in the line of questioning? Like theists do to atheists it will get out of hands from time to time but what can many expect it does get rather hairy when a question hits a nerve. Especially if it has been asked numerous times.

We'd give Muslims, Wiccans, Zoroastrians, Pagans, Shintoists, Buddhists, Hindus, Seminoles, Aztecs and Jews Hell instead..

you may be on to something

I am an atheist, but very hungry for something more than just "NOT" god

I feel that there is an explanation to why I can communicate with spouse from halfway around the world in a war zone and then call when I get back in, she was writing me a letter or thinking of me, she calls my cell or I call her (65 cents a minute using dinars)

No, the atheists would still have questions for Christians and other religious groups.

Christian Vs. Atheist debates don't go anywhere. They're pointless. I figured that out a long time ago.
