I have to defend immigration for a debate. What are some of the benefits Immigrants (Legal and Illegal) have on the United States of America? If there are any fresh ideas please share and I'll research them further.

Try to stick to the benefits of legal immigrants. Your best bet is to blend the two groups together if you are forced into it. (that's what they always try to do on here)

Illegals on their own have to much of a downside to easily defend. You are going to have to start by listing all of the points your opponent will have and try to counter them.

Another option is to try and prove that the illegals are a positive that has gone to extremes, that they aren't a bad thing for the country, but we just have to many.

Legal immigrants have to live like slaves an illegal immigrants freelance. Comming to the topic of legal immigration H1B visa, it takes 6 to 8 years to get into green card (china, india. phillipiness, mexico). If they are fired by the meployer they go out of status and its the employer responsibity to get them out of the country. Whereas illegal immigrants live in this country. google immigrantion voice you will get the answers. and check their stories too.

"How many americans have you seen doing jobs that ilegal and legal people do?" Even though alot of people wont accept it they help with our economy if all of them were to leave this country the E.U. economy would tank .I suggest that other people would start thinking the same.
