They are custom made bay windows, now i wanted it changed to bow windows instead, they told me they can't do that because they already cut the frame/glass for bay window, i didn't receive the windows as yet still in factory..they told me i have to pay for the bay windows also for the installation even thought i don't want these windows, i don't know what to do :( i havn't paid for the windows, i dont have them in my home, why can't i just cancel it? or change it to something else, they want me to pay for the windows plus installation, can they do that??

The most important fact here is you signed a CONTRACT. Now you are at the mercy of the statements in that contract. Generaly speaking, that contract was most likely vetted by an able attorney, which means you are not in a good situation. I hate to tell you this, but you are probably the prime owner of a new bay window, and if you try to change the contract, then your new bay windows are going to cost you a lot more. (attorneys fees). Try to negotiate a change, but...in all likelyhood, you own a new bay window. Sorry!

There is no changing your mind once you agreed to and signed your agreement for custom cut window treatments. The time and work is yours at this point. That is why it is so important to take your time before ordering to make sure you are ordering what you really want. You will be paying for the bay windows you chose. If you can suffer the loss and re-order a different window treatment, that is your only recourse.

When you ordered the windows you more than likely signed a piece of paper. I strongly advise you find and review it. Its probably a binding legal contract, but take it to an attorney just in case. Be advised, these window folks know how to legally snag people - in the end you'll probably be responsible. I have a friend who had to pay $13,000 for windows because she didn't bother to read what she signed.

You signed a contract,so you're bound to it.You'll have to pay whether you install them or not.Especially since they've started making them already.
Yes,you'll have to pay or go to court and you wouldn't have a chance of getting out of it anyway since you signed that contract.
Sorry.
