Dozens. Just do a search. Kennel clubs are as valuable or unvaluable as you see them. They are merely human clubs.

The following are all legit registries:

FCI = Fédération Cynologique Internationale
AKC = American Kennel Club
UKC = United Kennel Club
KCGB = Kennel Club of Great Britain
CKC = Canadian Kennel Club
ANKC = Australian National Kennel Club

The following clubs are bogus BYB/Mill registries and are a big waste of money.The papers from these registries aren't worth the paper they are written on:

NKC = National Kennel Club Nothing but a scam registry..definately not legit

CKC = Continental Kennel Club ........Nothing but a scam registry, defiantely not legit

CCR = Canadian Canine Registry....nothing but a scam regisrty, defiantely NOT legit

APRI = American Pet Registry Inc.......nothing but a scam registry, definatly NOT legit

ACR = American Canine Registry ...Nothing but a scam registry, defiantely NOT legit

AKC is the only registry that is recognized for showing and breeding. Shows here also recognize UKC registries as well. Any of the others are not reputable, no matter what they say. You cannot show using AKC judges in any other registry. They can only show using their judges. These are the same registries that the "designer breeders" like Labradoodles, chi-poos etc. are using. The puppy mills also use them to register their dogs.

The only other big registries are UKC and ADBA. Many of the rare breeds have their own registries, but I would not call them big. When I say rare breed I mean real breeds, not glorified mutts like the various poodle crosses. Any other multi breed registry is worthless.

The ADBA and the UKC are the only other "real" registries. The rest are scams just trying to make money.

That's really the only one that is recognized by reputable breeders. The rest are just posers.

Anyone can create a registry. However, they don't mean anything.

ACA is also a reputable registery, but most breeders do perfer to use AKC because it is the most recognized.
