If you watch Christian TV programs, you also see them sell things such as holy water, holy dipper, holy weith loss pills etc. I personal think all these seem has nothing to do with God. Would God care about our weight problem? Please enlighten me on this.

MEGA CHURCHES ARE GOING TO FALL

Their mind is not of God's word but of what they can stuff in their pocket.

God hates churches that sell merchandise where His word is supposed to be preached.

John 2: 13 – 17 (Jesus turned tables, because of merchandise of his fathers house)

13Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers doing business. 15When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables. 16And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!” 17Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.”

Well .. It's has always been like that since Jesus was on earth. Nothing new under the sun ... people are always try to make some money even "in the name of the Lord". Now, you have the "christian industry" that you need to differentiate from the Church .. we need to develop a deeper intimate relationship with God in order to get wisdom and discernment to see what's going on. In the christian industry, the marketers see the people of God as their network marketing. Last week, I received a letter from a celebrity-preacher who told me that he is going to pray for me but I need to "sow" money if I want my blessing. Business is business. I don't want their Je$u$ ... they mislead the people of God, they fleece the flock, they distort the scriptures, they build their own kingdom, they have their own non-sense theology, they have their blind followers (fan club), they don't care about the true Jesus .... they don't fear the Lord ... I am sick and tired of this con men.

No, it is not right! According to 1 Corinthians 16:1-2, and other passages, the church should raise money by taking up a collection from its members on the first day of each week!

There is no Biblical authority for sales, car washes, bingo nights, raffles, etc.

Just like the Pharisees did.

Jesus turned all their tables upside down and screamed and yelled at them.

Then they killed him.
