Doesn't he realise he has a back pile of bodies from all around the globe and from centuries ago waiting to be judged? So what is the hold up?

God doesn't judge. There is no heaven or hell. However, there is still a reckoning when souls pass over where each of us takes personal responsibility for every single act we did and we experience the consequences of everything we did to others from the perspective of those we affected, whether positive or negative.

Maybe He's waiting just for you? Even though I don't think you're looking for a serious answer, I'll offer one for free.
As another mentioned, many prophecies yet to be fulfilled...I've come to understand it as a "fullness of time" rather than a date that I can mark on my calendar. When all things/events/etc. are in place, Judgment Day will be upon us. Blessed is he who has been redeemed by the Grace of God.

Maybe He is desiring you and others to come to Jesus before He judges the whole world- He is giving you a chance to come into His presence, and receive the gift of forgiveness, so you can escape the same judgment that others before us will face.
