he started out just kidding around but after a while he started slapping me around pretty bad to the point where i would have visible bruises. I tried to cut him out of my life but cant stop thinking about him and still have feelings for him. What should i do

Someone who is suppose to love you will not hurt you. Leave, it never gets better only worse. Don't fall for the I'm sorrys and here is a gift to show how much I love you...that is part of the cycle...as mentioned before it will only get worse, and you may end up with injuries more severe that a few bruises.
Been there and got out.

What I'm going to tell you is real talk. And I know everyone has probably told you the same thing, but you dont deserve that. You need to leave him. I know cause I've been through that w/ my ex. When we use to get into arguements he would hit me, push me down the stairs and he even knocked his own mother down to get at me. Luckily in my case he realized that he was on the path to losing me and he came to his sences, and I guarantee that he never did it again, but the reason why he's my ex is a totaly different reason. But in most cases thats not how its going to end, they usually end up w/ someone getting hurt or killed. Im tellin you its not worth it, and I know what you mean when you say you still have feelings for him, I was the same way kept on going back. But you'll get the picture eventually, god forbid but its probably gonna take something bad to happen to make you see. But think about it. Good luck.

I think you should go get some therapy so that you don't take him back. If you already got him out of your life, you should keep it that way. Did you grow up in a abusive household? Maybe that is what your used to, so you are looking to that in adulthood? I would say you need to build your self esteem. Why would you want someone to slap you around? That is not love. He has issues. And wants to feel power over you.

First, the lifetime movie I watched. Now this..... He's slapping you around now. You still love him and just can't keep him your mind off him. In other words, it'll get worse. Eventually, you'll get thrown down stairs, choked, punched, everything because he knows he can do it and that you're not going anywhere... So you need to leave while you can. If you cared anything about your life, you'd do it... before it gets more serious than it is.

That really sucks. My old high school teacher once told me a story about her abusive boyfriend who was basically doing the same thing to her. You really have to leave.
My teacher said (I'm paraphrasing): I cut him out of my life completely, I avoided him, stopped talking, I moved out of our apartment and stayed with some friends, I got a boyfriend a little while later too.
By the way, she's currently married with 2 or 3 kids. No lie.

There is no excuse for any guy to lay his hands on you. U need to try your best to erase him out your mind cuz it start with a few bruises then it end with your life.

Leave! If he hits you again, call the police. This is not an acceptable thing. Do not ever let anyone abuse you. Love o doesnt have to hurt. If he cares, he doesnt hit.

Take photo's of the bruises and call the POLICE! Put this asshole in jail before he kills you.You also might want to get some mental help for yourself!Good luck.

Leave him! No matter the circumstances, a guy should never hit his girl...there is no excuses for that. It looks to me that he is getting worse too.... leave him and stop thinking about him.. OR talk to him and let him know what is bothering you... that it is not right for him to do that and see if he stops? If he doesn't ... LEAVE HIM! You deserve better.
