I used to be a christian and then I wised up, my wife is a christian, we argue all the time about it, it will probably end our marriage, she says that I should still go to church with her and all that, I say no way I don't believe that nonsense anymore

I am a Christian, and I have been dating an Atheist. We have been going out since we were 16 years old and have plans to get married!
I personally see no reason to avoid these commitments. I know that some people say that "You shouldn't because they will try to tempt you," But just because they are different does not make them evil! Stay strong in your beliefs and don't waver from them; and no one should be able to push you to something else. It's you who makes the decision in the end.
I hope this helps! :)

such commitments are hard to continue!its not only that u r from one religion and the other person doesnt..but their opinions in alot of life questions will definitly be very different!and this may develop alot of problems..i wud take it on the safe side and be good frnds with the person if the person is worth it...but not more!

Yes. I'm a Christian, and I'm in a long-term relationship with a non-Christian. As long as the atheist in question agreed to honor my choice to practice my religion as I wish, I'd consider it. Of course, I'd similarly respect their right not to believe.

I am a Christian that is married to an Atheist. We had been hapily married for 15yrs now. I never get critized by Atheists for my marriage but I constantly get slammed by other Christians for it. Go figure.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt that says, "I was in love with an atheist and all I got was this lousy shirt."
Would I do it again? Probably. I don't go seeking out atheists though, or anyone else in particular. If it happens, it happens.

I as an Atheist, could not marry a christian. That would be a big problem as I would not want to be married to a crazy person and would not my children brainwashed by such nonsense.

If I wasn't married, probably. I would still be a Christian. I would also ask them to serve Christ.

Well, I have to say there is no way I would get involved with a church-going lady. It would eventually became an argument about her invisible friend.

If my husband decided one day that he was atheist, I won't divorce him over it. We've been through enough considering that I'm a Jew and he's not and we're doing great. :)
