Yes, I love my enemies. This love of ones enemies and those who persecute is not the same affection one would feel for a friend, family member of those related to us in the faith. This is Agape, a love based upon principle. Agape is not sentimentality, based on mere personal attachment, as is usually thought of, but is a moral or social love based on deliberate assent of the will as a matter of principle, duty, and propriety, sincerely seeking the other’s good according to what is right. Agape (love) transcends personal enmities, never allowing these to cause one to abandon right principles and to retaliate in kind.

Mt. 10:36 brings out that a person's enemies would be members of his own household so how appropriate that we should love them. Besides that, to feel hatred is not good for a person physically, so it is a loving provision for Jehovah to tell us to love our enemies. Besides that, vengeance belongs to Jehovah, and he will give appropriate punishment according to his will.

I do not see people as my enemy. I see them as being used by satan to try to pull me down. Quite often satan will use someone near and dear to us to try.
So I guess you can say that I don't love my enemy, because I only have one.....and he will never have my love.

I actually hate my enemies and work every day towards their destruction and ruin.
That's why they are my enemies.
You should probably limit this question to Christians if you want to provoke a controversy.
