Unfortunately there ARE Christians who judge others despite that fact that they tell others they shouldn't judge. However, that's not how God has called Christians to behave.

1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
~Matthew 7:1-2 (New International Version)~

Now, there ARE Christians who truly do attempt to live a life that is pleasing to God. However, Christians are human, so it's inevitable that they'll slip every now and judge others. I, myself, and guilty of this, but the important thing to remember is that Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven.

There are a lot of verses inthe Bible on judging, so why do you just use the one and make it oerrule all other statements.

1 Cor 6:3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?

1 Cor 10:15 I speak as to wise men; you judge what I say.

1 Cor 5:12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church?

Luke 12:57 "And why do you not even on your own initiative judge what is right?

It's the scripture every non-Christian knows, and every Christian forgets. It seems like all they do is judge because the ones that do judge are so vocal. But please don't forget, there is a difference between disagreeing and judging. Judging implies you give someone some sort of punishment or "sentence" based on their actions or beliefs. Many Christians know better than that.

It's human nature to be self-righteous and hypocritical. As pointing the finger at others and making a big deal out of their mistakes, is just a twisted mind game to try and take the attention off of our own mistakes.
It's the Devil's thinking. And it doesn't work. As the more we talk about others, the more we "bring" attention on oursleves.

Amen Demon......
Judging others is a human condition that is hard to resist. And most "Christians" only pretend to be so, for the acceptance of their neighbors and business relationships.
The few true "Christians" do not judge others, for that is the "Lord & Creators" domain.......

If we can't judge at all, does it mean that we can't judge child molesters? Isn't that one of the biggest criticisms of the Catholic church, that they didn't do anything to stop the abuse committed by priests and turned a blind eye?

Even though the really vocal ones are that way, there are many that aren't so judgmental. The ones that are judgmental have hate in their hearts.

Every one is a sinner, no one is good, no one is righteous.

Luke 18:19
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

Matthew 19:17
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Romans 3:10
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Matthew 7:1-3 (King James Version)

1Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

John 5:30
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John 8:16
And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

No one can judge with righteous judgment except Christ, yet even Christ does not judge for it is the Father in Christ which judges.

Those who judge, and everyone judges, without repenting their judgment will receive their just reward.

Those who judge unrighteously, and how can the unrighteous judge otherwise, will be judged unrighteously. All are judged as they judge.
