Just want to point out that that is not ALWAYS the case... there are tons of stay at home parents. But as for those parents who don't have time for them... that is a good question. It could be that getting married and having kids has been viewed as the norm in society, so it just seems like the next thing for many people. Or maybe some people did not plan to have kids and are unable to cope properly with the fact that they do have kids.

that is where family planning comes in. how many children to have and when to have them. so there is enough time to bring them up as well as finances to back up future children's expenses. parents work hard is because of the children. sad to say, many parents get tied down to work that they don't have time to bond with growing up kids so the relationship is not intimate.

that is pretty harsh sir from my parenting point of view. when you have kids u have to work to take care of them. and sometimes, well for me i dont work because i want to leave my children. i work to help to give them a good life and a proper education.
sometimes when you take the job you did not even kno that ur partners job would have to change which means your hours would be a chaos. and that is probly the causer of none of you been there. i must agree some parents take a lot of overtime and that can be a problem sometimes. but except for a few i dont think all parents work so many hopurs because they dont want to be there for their kids. and i love my two boys very very veryu very very very much but i have to work for a second income

Good question.
Some of us took the time to find a suitable partner to marry and have children with. We even took the time to finish our education BEFORE children. Amazing what a little self control and planning can accomplish.

They have the time they just like to use it doing what they like to do. Approach them about it. Be direct and polite while doing so. Tell your father what a cool car he has. Whow that was the best joy ride that I have ever had. You will get his full attention...........
