If you gave them the chance how successful was your relationship?

Leave them immediately..!!
There can be no further trust in a relationship, that has one of the partners cheating.
It would be forever in the back of the mind.
And in the future, when you 'may' be offered a chance to cheat, you will. Because, "Well, he/she did it. Why can't i, and apologise afterwards."
No, all trust would have gone in my book.

in the past i forgave and forgave and forgave the same guy soo many times over too many years.

i've learnt my lesson fully!! all it did was make me depressed and hate myself and i somehow let it all be twisted around so that i thought it was my fault that he cheated in the first place because i was not a good enought person..

what the hell??? looking back it was crazy l!!

now i would leave in a flash...
once a cheat always a cheat with the person,
i think maybe they could be faithful to someone else ,
but once the trust has been broken i honnestly don't think its worth it anymore!, my opinion.

hi speaking from experiences i have forgiven my partner for cheating on me but our reasons ere probably different to Ur's the fact is if u can forgive and forget then do so but if u can forgive but not forget then don't try to unless u think u can forget in time but if u till love him and that love is still strong than do what u think is right we are not answering for u what we say just take them into consideration and don't act upon what anyone on ere Say's that choice has to be yours and only yours u need to get away for a bit and think this one out properly Hun all the best for whatever choice u make but take care and make sure the choice u make is yours and the right 1 gd luck x x

I think it depends on the circumstances of the relationship,

for example if your significant other had no interest in sex but you have a high sex drive, is it right for them to expect you to go without, just because THEY don't want to do it?

In which case could you be blamed for looking elsewhere?

If the cheating happens within one year of the begining of the relationship then there is a posibility of reconciliation. After that it is just betrayal, TO THE CURB.

forgiving doesn't mean forgetting. I wouldn't take anyone back again, once bitten, twice shy. They only get one chance with me. I'm not going to sit around and wait for them to cheat on me again.

If you give them a chance, you'd be only giving them the chance to do it AGAIN. There is NO excuse. Leave them.

I could not forgive them. For me it's the ultimate betrayal.
