I have a misdemeanor, and after my court date I was put on probation(the type that you don't have to meet with an officer) for three years. I paid my fines and completed my community service on time. Now I want to join the Air Force. I've spoken to a recruiter and they said I can't be on probation(duh) and my court docs can't say that I was taken off of probation to join the air force. So how can I convince the judge to let me off of probation without telling him that I will be joining the air force?

Hello I want you to really pay attention here. First tell your Clergyman what you intentions are next get letters from friends whom have outstanding credit and are pillars to the community. Letters from teachers wi help also.

This letter will speak of your character and how you want to turn your life around..are you with me?

Go the probation department and check in on your own for a month, keep records of who you have talked to.

Have al there names written down and ask to see the Judge that gave you the sentence they can schedule you a court date. Then present you letters and etc. to the Judge.

If you do not want to be that formal send the letter to the court, it will work trust me.

God Bless You

costly pal, Probation is a conditional sentence. the 2d your probation time is complete your sentence is complete, you have noting to pay to the society and you're a unfastened guy. Your PO can take you off the criminal technique. despite the fact that, for some intense cases or if that's the situation of your probation that your case or progression would be reviewed with the aid of the courtroom them you will pass to courtroom. in any different case, no. wish it helps. thank you.

Wait until the three years are up. Are you really going to create some neat little LIE to tell a judge. You don't get off probation early for good behavior, you stay out of jail while on probation for maintaining good behavior.

No military service will touch you if you have outstanding legal issues. This includes probation.

BTW - the fact that you have a conviction is going to make it hard to join the military just by itself.
