I was doubting my Salvation, awhile back, and I was so worried about it, that I could not go to sleep. One night I had a dream. In the dream, I was in a white room, and all of the females in my family were in the dream. In thw white room there was an opening to a garden, it was so pretty. I look out the garden, and I saw two biblical woman picking some stuff up and putting them into a rice basket. It look like they were harvesting. Then I find out one of them was Mary, the other of Jesus, and she stood face to face with me holding the basket, and she told me"You are a child of God" I woke up from the dream, Christians do you think this is God telling me I should not worry about my Salvation? I know that we should not praise mary, but I wonder why she happen to be chosen to tell me this? Let me know what you think. Please no non Christians and Catholics please, do not answer this question...

The Bible tells us to examine ourselves in the Epistles of Paul and other places. Many people think it is a sin to doubt your salvation because you are doubting the power of God, but nowhere in the Bible does it say that. I don't believe in visions and it sounds like you are thinking of an excuse to not worry about your salvation. In the Psalms, David and other psalmists frequently speak their of their love to God, and they frequently pray that God not let them be deceived (not in those exact words). Jeremiah 17:9 says, "The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it?" I would not be going on Yahoo answers with something as serious as eternity.

Hi, I have the Gift of Dream and I'm intuitive, I'm also a Christian. If God revealed to you that you are a child of God, then you are...what is happening is that you are running from what God has called you to do. that is why you are so confused. but the good thing is that since you are a child of God, you are promised salvation before you leave this earth, at what point this will happen, is uncertain, you see when you are a child of God, Satan sees you as a bigger threat, and will cause you more problems and hardship . But you can be rest assured that you will eventually turn your life around, and follow Christ, because this is your destiny !

Yeah, I agree with alot of other Christians that God was reassuring you of your salvation. You can not lose your salvation unless you choose to walk away from it. What's happened to you is that the devil has worked on your mind to make you think you are not saved. When you can not rest at night it means your peace has been taken away from you. And sometimes God will not let your peace come back until you address certain issues in your life, in this case your salvation. But this is what your dream means: The white room with the women of your family represents holiness and set apart. The garden you saw represents spiritual cultivation or cultivating the Word of God in your life. The reason you saw Mary in your dream is because she represents someone who cultivated the Word the God in her life and received the fruit of her labor. I am praying in tongues as I am giving you this intepretation and this is direct Word from God to you. The purpose of Mary being in your dream is not so you can praise her, but God is showing you that He is going to raise you up like her. The garden is in reference to lifestyle the Lord wants to cultivate in you and make you fruitful. Mary was highly favored of the Lord and the Lord wants you to know that you are highly favored also. I think this was a message to you that you are loved and a child of God no matter what you do. Live your life the best you can and don't dwell so much on salvation. Remember God forgives and does not expect perfection from us. Relax:)

I'm not a Christian, although I have nothing against them. I hope you don't mind if I say I think God was trying to tell you exactly that. And is it not a bad thing to praise the people you know who have done good on earth, such as Mary. Worship, perhaps not, but praise is good for all. . .even you. And I believe you are praiseworthy in your efforts as a Christian. You have been told so by the Mother of God.
PS. Please remember that Jesus himself liked to hang out with tax collectors and sinners. Please don't make judements on people such as myself.

it is true. YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD. i don't think that God is telling you not to worry about your salvation any more. He is telling you to trust in him. If you live your life like God tells you to, repent of your sins, and fully believe the gospel, accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior(trusting him to do the right thing for you), you have nothing to worry about. about mary, she is the mother of God, and YOUR heavenly mother, you should honor her(not worship her). I think that you should take this dream as a message from God saying that you are His child, He loves you, and He wants you to trust him.

Why not Catholics> we know just about as much as u do as a christian ( prespitarion etc.). That is a creepy dream but you were lucky to have it! That means god is telling you you are fine and you do not need to worry.

i don't understand why you don't want Catholics to answer this question. We are also Christians. Mary was the Mother of JESUS and JESUS in all Christian Bibles bed us to honour HIS Mother as HE Himself did.She was at the foot of the Cross when HE hung across it and gave HIS Life for all sinners. so why would GOD have Mary, the Mother of Jesus deliver to you this message.... it was because if not for the acceptance of Mary to bear GODs SON there would have been no Cross for JESUS to die on and if JESUS had not died on the Cross there would have been no salvation for all of GODs Children. you have been blessed by GOD. accept it as such.

White is usually the symbol of pure. which is god. I feel that it is god telling you that you shouldn't be worried about your faith and salvation. Mary is seen as a motherly figure, and maybe thats who you needed to confirm the message.
