You do NOT need to immigrate to australia or become a citizen there to go to school there. Immigrating to Australia is a VERY difficult thing to do and takes YEARS. You may apply for a student visa. See website below.

immigrateing to australia does not take YEARS and it is not so hard. far out you guys are screwed up!! 2 years max ok, thats on student visa, doing study n restricted to 20 hoursper week work ( but everyone does more work for cash, no tax:) ) good luck u can do it n u can do it easily, god im liveing in a house of 10 desi boys all about 18 22 years of age n they r doing it and thay dont moan how HARD it is or how i takes YEARS its easy! just do it come on.. unless u r hindu u know u only live once!!v lol npo offence intended!

Get your qualifications first then give it some more thought.
The good news is that Canadian qualifications are normally OK in Australia but that does not guarantee they will let you in.
