The more I read about the breed, the more I think she could be one. Yes, this is all speculation, but what do you think?

Don't you worry, no matter what she is or isn't, she's a good dog and I'll love her regardless. Her breed is just a fascinating puzzle to me.

I was leaning toward GSD/Golden Retriever mix myself, but she could have some Toller in her.

Yeah, she could be a poorly bred Golden Retriever mix, and I'm okay with that. Like I said, she's my girl. She turns 2 this month, and it's her 6-month anniversary with me since I got her from That Place. Don't we all love talking about our dogs? :)

She's 40 lbs, so small for a GSD or a Golden.

I've seen a LOT of Tollers (judged a match with 28 of them once)... your girl doesn't bring them to mind for me.

Your dog is a beautiful mutt... maybe some Toller in her.. much more likely some backyard bred Golden Retriever.

I don't know that I see much Toller in her. The ears are too dark (the Tollers I've seen haven't had that much of a difference between ear color and main coat color), the eyes are too dark (the Tollers I've seen tend towards lighter eyes), the size is too big. The black markings at the nose are also not very Toller. The white toe-tips are about the only thing I'd think might say "Toller" but that could come from several other breeds, as well.

Some pics of Tollers:

She's a cutie, whatever she is! I'd go with "Shepherd/Golden" mix, myself, but that's just me.

she's a mix with some shepard, looks like maybe some golden, maybe alittle collie type like border, or even the smaller sheltie. I'm betting your dog is around 50 pounds typical of a dog that is a multi breed mix, the Nova is very rare and it's unlikely you will find one unless there is a breeder in your area. Your dog has a very pretty face like a shepard.

I'm actually ALSO curious if my dog is a toller. My fiancé and I adopted her from a shelter. They found her with three other pups whose faces favor, not coat, on the side of the road in a box. She's got it all-- the coat, pink nose, webbed feet, white tail tip, white socks, white fur on her chest and even a line of white down her nose. Longer hair is now growing on her long tail, her mane, and her hind legs and chest/ears-- even crimped hair on the bag of her ears. What do you all think? Here's a collage of pictures from 3 months to 8/9 months!

I don't want to lower your hope that your dog is a NSDTR(too long) i really dont see it in her.. Is it me? It looks like a German Shepard mix..Could be but i think it could be a golden retriever mix too. Good luck on your quest to find the breed of your dog. It would be better to decipher if you saw the dog in real life. Nice pictures

GUYS shes just wanting people to guess her breed, Too many people do it..Its her turn...lol

I don't know enough about either of those breeds to answer the question, but I did see your post earlier about how to convince your parents to let you get another dog and how to raise money to buy it and I hate to burst your bubble kid but you should probably set your sights a little lower. First of all, neither of those breeds are common so you would most likely have to go through a breeder to get one, possibly having to have it shipped from a different part of the country. I don't think you can fathom how expensive all of that will be, and then when the puppy arrives you will have to buy supplies and pay for vet care. I highly doubt your parents will agree to all of that if they aren't too keen on the idea of you getting another dog in the first place. My best advice is to check out a local shelter and find a dog to adopt. Shelters often have full breeds as well as mixed breeds, and they have dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages and personalities. Their adoption fees will be a fraction of the price of a puppy from a breeder and the dog should be all up to date on vet care, plus you'd be saving a life. I honestly think you have a better chance of convincing your dad and step mom to let you adopt a shelter dog than getting them to let you spend a ton of money on a puppy from a breeder.

She looks like German shepherd/Golden retriever to me.She's a bit too big to be a Toller, and her markings suggest GSD.She's a beautiful dog, though.

Nope, don't think so ... What I see is GSD and maybe Golden Retriever. Pretty sure about the GSD, less so about what else. Might be a little Border Collie in there. She's pretty, though!

I think she's definitely mixed with one. The characteristics of the Toller (ears, muzzle, and tail) on one of the pages match hers pretty good. I'd say she has it in her! She's not full though. I just see a little in her with some shepherd or golden retriever.

I don't know, Gal....she looks more like a shepard golden mix. She sure is cute, though. It was fun seeing you with your dog! I can tell you adore her!
