Jesus's appearance on the heated and brittle slice of whole wheat (or Canadian white!) should signal us all to do what? Eat more toast, of course! By eating more toast, we will surely become the most supreme species on the planet, freeing ourselves of the oppressive bonds of infectious disease. Ah, the true nature of the elusive breadbox is revealed. Who knows what would happen if the wrong beast got it's greedy little hands on our bakery goods?!

I Can't Believe It's Not Buddha.

I think it has everything to do with the toaster and the frame of mind the toast consumer is in and very little to do with Jesus.
Every morning Winnie the Pooh "reveals" himself to me on my toast, so does Tigger, and the Pooh theme song plays when the toast pops up. If there was a blinding white light shining on me toaster and the Vienna boy's choir singing "Hallelujah!" resounded when out came said toast, THEN I would question.

Anybody invents a toaster that does that, I want a kick back.

Since Adam and Eve this world has not been meant to be heaven. Life is not meant to be easy. We are meant to learn from all the imperfections that earth provides. As a society we have proven that we will not learn from history (the bible). We do not commit to a better way of life so we will suffer the consequences and hopefully learn. But we never stop expecting all the favours of heaven, though we don't deserve them. Our job is to make ourselves, call it our soul or.., a better person.

It's the common touch - most people don't have malaria, but lots of people can relate to toast.

He doesn't reveal himself on the odd slice of toast, or inside a tomato, or in a shadow in a bush, or on the side of a black and white cow. He reveals himself in the Bible and in his people. He revealed himself in Jesus' life on earth.

Go to http://www.nothingbutnets.net and contribute $10 to buy a mosquito net.

That's how you can help. And God bless the person who came up with the idea.
