you know for the people who only judge muslims based on what they see on tv is the real problem here. They are no better than listening to people gossip about someone else and take their word for it. too judgemental, ignorant and just plain wrong. If we feel as a society that in order to get to know the person to determine wheather they are nice or not shouldn't that rule apply to most things??? the media has their own motives. ? for those people......the war betweeen plastine and Isreal. there are 2 parties whom are initiating back and forth right? come on a child would understand that ....well how come we only see what muslims have done top them and not what they have done to the muslims!
If their were 2 guys and they wanted to fight one another and one guy had ( all the warfare) and the other one has his fists and wood and anything that he can grap, you wouln't think that would be a fair fight right? that is what is happening in palestine and isreal. It's not just a simple war of land its way beyond that.......because of this the muslims dislike not just the americans , but what america is supplying to the oppostion of their which is all the warfare.......get it ???

I think there are people who consider themselves Muslims to justify the atrocities they commit against their fellow man.
They have hijacked the Koran and are using it to legitimize their murderous agenda to gain control of the entire world.
I don't think all Muslims are on a mission to kill the infidels but those who are fake are simply murderers and are killing everyone outside their sect including their own kind in the form of a civil war.
It's really sad that so many heartless people are giving an entire religion such a bad name and people everywhere are affected by it.
Just look at what they're doing and tell me if the impression they give to the world of Islam is unwarranted.

This is a classic example of why you think people hate all Muslims because these Muslims are making them think that they represent all of you as a whole.
If you were to say that they are not Muslim and are simply cold blooded killers then people would stop and think that maybe they are really cold blooded killers and will begin to doubt they have anything to do with being Muslim.
But as long as Muslims alike keep quiet about it it's making it appear to the rest of the world as if your condoning their murderous behavior.
Speak out against their brutality and killing and deny they have any part of your faith and then you will start to see peoples opinion of Islam as a whole take a change for the better.

God bless you and may peace and joy be with you.

Any hate based on a "grouping" is misplaced, does it exist though? Yes. As for Muslims yes it exists, as with any other group/race/nationality. Muslims probably rank pretty high, usually people who do this kind of "grouping" are not very knowledgeable. There is much hate for muslims all over the world, there is also much hate for many other religions by muslim countries themselves. I don't hate muslims myself, being American, I do hate Islam (and any other religion) existing. Would reduce this amount of hate without these poisons. I prefer to hate the source of these brainwashing/false ideologies, instead of the people. In general the people are good.

media is a very strong tool. so powerful that it can make people xenophobiacs and islamophobiacs. 9/11 was a sham as widely claimed by int'l and US media! i mean after all the research no one has been able to prove anything more than that this was a ploy of the defense department!

islam is a religion of peace and tolerance and if a certain rogue group of muslims acts on extremes then thats no reason to brand the whole religion as 'terrorist'

It's because people form their opinions of Muslims by what they see/hear from the media. But of course as any person with common sense would know, the media is full of LIES.
You can't judge an entire group of people by the actions of a few misguided individuals. You can't blame every German person for hitler's actions, same way you can't blame every Muslim for the actions of a few misguided followers.

As with everything, there are good and bad Muslims. The bad Muslims are REALLY bad. Life is not as important as religion to some, and that makes them dangerous.

It's because the twin towers went down. In order to keep our sin nature alive we need somebody to hate, so we group all Muslims into the same category as the radicals. It's like the old cliche, "All ****** carry knives." The do the same thing with us Christians. I'm not saying that I'm not radical. I am radical, but I'm not two faced, and that's the difference.

It is true that the Ka'aryn teaches that a Muslim must either convert of kill the "infidel." But, fortunately, most Muslims don't know the Ka'aryn any better than most Christians know the Bible. (Tongue in cheek) Moreover, it isn't what's in their heart.

Me personally? I want these people to be saved.

I have never met a Muslim who is anything except kind and considerate. I've worked with many Muslims, and many of them go to my gym, so I see them in professional and recreational settings. They are very good people.

We have quite a few good Muslims in our city in Ontario, Canada. I'd like to see them in social situations more often; joining service groups, singing in choruses, becoming barbershoppers, taking New Horizon bands for learning musical instruments. I'm not saying that some don't do this, but in my case, in spite of there being many Muslims around, I have never had a chance to meet one in a social situation. This doesn't only apply to Muslims, of course - it applies to many other ethnic groups.

The problem is not the religion, but the ideology. Here in Brazil I knew a Christian guy who was received as an exchange student in a Muslim family in Canada and he simply loved it. When I say that the problem is the ideology I refer to those nations where people are bought up to hate Christians, the USA or any other thing that, for some reason, make them remember the sad history of the "crusades", when the Catholic church decided to "Christianize" the world by imposition. Many Muslims died for not accepting it.
