Atheism is the fasting growing minority, we need to quash this free thought movement before it really takes off.

Jesus is the way and the light and all the rest of that stuff.

Hey Not,

Cmon, your shooting fish in a barrel.

You're setting up people that arent bright enough to know that you are pulling their chain.

Although I do appreciate the irony in asking people that have opted out of thinking for themselves on how to keep people from thinking for themselves.

This 'free thought movement' is going to continue despite your efforts. Everyone has free will and atheists have the freedom to believe what they want. God never forces Himself on anyone. Telling someone they are going to hell if they aren't a Christian is an outright threat, more apt to repulse than aid in their search for the Truth. It is the absence of love. I wince at the word 'doctrine' and 'indoctrinate' as it smacks of mind control and introduces God as a sort of murderous Hitler. Each night our family sat with our Bibles and studied them chapter by chapter. We focused on the covenants and covenant receivers. Faith was stressed. We asked questions, discussed, made notes, cross-referenced. The best way to approach someone is to tell them how much the Lord loves us unconditionally, how He offers the promise to everyone, it is not earned it is given by grace. It is up to every individual to approach Him. The gifts of salvation, inspiration and of interpretation are gradually a working part of our minds and hearts.
The way to teach is by example and in speaking the Truth - about OUR relationship with God, We must open doors, we must not slam them shut with verbal assault. I do not remember Jesus attacking anyone, however, He was most vocal in admonishing people who followed the letter of the law. He was/is a humanitarian, not a dictator.

Great results were achieved by bringing along armed soldiers when converting people.
And don't forget the success of the Spanish Inquisition.
Nobody expects the Spanish Inqusition!

Get it in the public schools! Just like the atheists!
Isn't THAT how they've indoctrinated OUR children into their secular humanism?
We only have our children for so long, but the schools have them longer, and in such a way to really shove their philosophies down their throats.

If you love your children, you will tell them the truth. We love our children, so we teach them.
I guess people have forgotten what the truth is.

Lead by example. Be a good, kind, loving and non-judgmental person.

Indoctrination sounds somewhat sinister and smacks of brainwashing.

Children should have the right to form their own opinions. If they experience positive Christian traits, they may well want to embrace religion. But, are you going to dictate to them in every aspect of their lives?

Lol, I love the "free thought movement" part.

Why don't you teach children both Atheism and Christianity and let them choose for themselves?

That's kinda what freedom is.......

I don't indoctrinate anyone and do not advocate doing so.
How fast is athesim growing, may I ask?

Do you have a link for us to see?
You are obviously not a Christian.
This is clearly sarcastic.

According to this, Asians and Hispanics are the fastest growing minority.

Do I smell troll? *DRINK* You Jesus Huffer!

You might as well outlaw thinking and free thought.

You had better come armed and not alone. Cause the minute you come after me or my family to steal my rights and kill the American way of life I will rise up and kill you. I will be the patriot on that day.

Jesus is the path to darkness and illiteracy. Religion is weakness and feebleness of the mind, a poison to our culture and the American way of life.
