Many people are jealouse of rich people.Being hatefull and ugly just because someone is rich and you are not is just as bad as bing rich and greedy and stomping on those less fortunate. I see alot of these kind of haters in the world. But nobody ever talks about it. Thanks for bringing this point up.

I'm assumeing your speaking of christians saying rich people are bad, right? Well if that is what you are saying here we go..... It does state in the bible that it's easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. The people you are talking about are human right? so that means THEY are not perfect either right? Ok so remember just b/c someone is a christian doesn't make them perfect. And you can be a "good" poor person or a "good" rich person but being "good" doesn't get you to heaven anyway. The point is haveing alot of money makes you need God less b/c lets face it the majority of life's problems can be fixed with money so if you have money it's no big deal just shell out $3,000 to fix the car or leaky roof (whatever) but if you don't have money you have to pray and seek God and when God comes through with your miracle THAT makes you stronger in your walk and in faith where as the richman just pulled money out the atm no big deal. Do you understand what I mean?? Hope this helped

For some, it is comforting to think that wealthy people got that way by some underhanded methods since they have not been able to become so. Others like to think that wealth has led people to vices.
Some, however have become prejudiced because of unequal justice. The media tends to focus more on the crimes of the wealthy Especially those who use their money to hire the best of lawyers who are able to get them off for their crimes. This frustrates and angers people. Poorer defendants, even if innocent, may end up serving jail time anyway. People start to feel that hard-working, honest wealthy people who donate lots of their wealth to charity are the exception rather than the rule.
Wealth does not make one a good person or a bad one. Poverty does not make one virtuous or prone to bad.
Individuals from both groups and everyone in between, are basically who they would be if their bank accounts were different.

I know. People who are rich can be very diverse. Heck, even some poor people who played the lotto could become rich any day. I think it stems from the old saying "The love of money is the root of all evil."

You have never read about Lazraus and the rich man, or heard Jesus say, "it would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven.
If you follow the commandments of Jesus, you would never be rich, because you give to all who ask, or wish to borrow, you ask not to be returned that which was taken from you, you feed the hungry and clothed the naked and you judge no one.

I think it's because they've been lied to about money. I believe that many politicians prey upon the poor by promoting this lie.
Edit: It may also come from the misquoting of scripture. The bible does NOT say that the love of money is the root of all evil. Look it up.

rich people can be good or bad.
most of those who are lacking the means to be rich envy those who have it all.
instead of working hard to become successful in life , and perhaps gain some wealth, they envy the rich.
it is a disease that i hope they could overcome so as to better the conditions of their lives.

(from an American Middle Class point of view) Because the "rich" people own 95% of all wealth and there are still people dying of treatable diseases and living in the streets... sounds to me like the "rich" people could pitch in a little more than they are.
