I use Ive's Apricot crub twice a day and I have very oily but very sensative skin. It works wonders! Also, if I'm feeling a break out coming on, I use Neutrogena's Rapid Clear ointment pads. They come in a orange container, and are the best thing over the counter. Be careful though, if you over use them they can be very over drying for the skin. I usually finish off by using Biore's shine control mosturisure. It is AMAZING! (green bottle)

Depends on if you have acne or not. If you do have acne that I would suggest the Acne Free. It is a 2 step process just like Proactiv, but you don't have to order it and it works amazing. If you are just looking for a new kind and don't have acne at all than I would suggest the neutrogena. If you have sensitive skin, than you want something light like Cetaphil. Cetaphil is the best for sensitive skin and is light and doesn't have fragrance or anything to cause your skin to be irritated.

Make sure the product you choose does NOT contain benzoyl peroxide...

1. "Benzoyl peroxide has been shown to be a tumor promoter and progression agent in a number of animal studies. The clinical significance of this is unknown."
"Benzoyl peroxide in acetone at doses of 5 and 10 mg administered twice per week induced skin tumors in transgenic Tg.AC mice in a study using 20 weeks of topical treatment."

2. "Inorganic peroxide (H(2)O(2))-mediated malignant transformation was also enhanced effectively by iron."

3. "Benzoyl peroxide promotes the formation of melanotic tumors in the skin of 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene... Syrian golden hamsters."

4. "CONCLUSION: This study indicated that benzoyl peroxide could increase carcinogenesis of golden hamster tongue which induced by DMBA. Consideration of promoting agent should be taken in carcinogenesis as well as carcinogen."

5. "...followed by topical treatment with benzoyl peroxide, a tumor promoter (20 mg/animal/0.2 ml acetone) twice a week for 1 month..." A search in PubMed, an online directory of medical studies throughout the medical community, shows over 113 studies relating to benzoyl peroxide and skin cancer. Over 2/3 of these show a causative association between benzoyl peroxide and skin cancer.

Nothing that they sell at target...I use Herbalife brand skin care system for normal to oily...but you'd have to drop 70 bucks to get that...

CLEARISIL IS DEFINITELY THE BEST. YOUR ZITS GO AWAY IN ONE NIGHT AFTER APPLICATION, AND IT'S ONLY LIKE $3, AND PROACTIV DOES THE SAME THING AND ITS $30

I like the bar of soap I got from Mary Kay. It lasts forever, and it makes my face happy.
