A fundamentalist (insert religion here). Anyone who never lets logic or contradictory evidence interfere with their beliefs and believes that all who do not believe as they do are condemned to Hell.
American Heritage defines it as NOUN: 1. A usually religious movement or point of view characterized by a return to fundamental principles, by rigid adherence to those principles, and often by intolerance of other views and opposition to secularism.
Thankfully, they are a very small minority in most religions.

the term is short for 'fundamentalist'...it used to refer to those on the extreme conservative end of the Christian spectrum...however, as society in general has become more and more secular, anyone who believes that Christ is exactly whom he said He was, and that what He taught still applies today, pretty much qualifies as a 'fundie'...it's a pejorative term and the precise definition of a 'fundie' depends on your perspective...i consider those snake handler churches to be 'fundies'...but i have been called that by atheists, agnostics, and the occasional roman catholic-it's just a word, and an occasional insult, and as such it has only as much power to hurt me as i allow...which is, none

"Fundie" is a derogatory term for a Fundamentalist Christian, one who believes that the Bible is true and accurate, and any so-called 'errors' and 'contradictions' are due to misunderstanding of the text.

A person who wants to ruin this country and turn it into a theocracy. Take CJ for example. A fundamental / fanatical Christian, in other words.

We are the ones who speak up and defend and uphold the word of God, in a time when neither He nor His word is popular. Because we are agreement with God rather than the masses, many people accuse us of "hate", which is something no Christian would advocate.
