OK, it's going to depend heavily on the type of car, number of other drivers, and the credit score of the primary driver, and which coverages are on the car.

Generally, that good student discount is worth about $50 or $100 off . Not much. But you'll have to get REAL quotes with REAL info from a local agent.

Alot. Even with good student discounts, car insurance is insanely expensive for anyone under 21. Especially males. The rest of the rate equation is based on their age, driving experience, type and amount of coverages requested, the state you live in, type of car(s) they're driving, how long they've been driving, their individual credit ratings, the amount of miles the car is driven per day, their driving histories, and a few other variables.

Depends on the carrier. Good student discounts range from 10-25%.
