I have known him for just a few weeks.He's in my class.At first I thought he was too much of a little boy, arrogant and just talked about football.A few days ago we started talking just suddenly and I loved all he said.He practises volleyball, likes Liverpool,hates Milan,he's with Ferrari (&I'm with Hamilton) but it doesn't matter. No, really... He was really cute when he was talking...(and we didn't just talk about sport!) So, in my mind I made lots of idiot fantasies and when I went today at school (duh!) I saw him and we didn't say anything to each other.. apart from some short, idiot phrases...
Was it me who was wrong, did I made too much of it, did I misunderstand it or what? How can I understand if he likes me or not? I'm not even sure if I like him. I usually like guys who don't know I exist, and when they finally realize it (and they do realize it!) I lose completely interest!
Am I a desperate, rare socilogist case or what?
And... well, he's not really much of a jerk...

You should work that issue of suddenly losing interest out with yourself, and my bet is that both of you were just nervous, if he likes you back. If he starts talking to you a lot more that's probably a sign that he likes you.

The answer to your question lies in your comment, "I usually like guys who don't know I exist". You have to not know that guys you like exist. Look at this diagram and see it this way: you are A and he is B. At first its A.........................B and you like the guy because he doesn't know you exist. Then, when he notices its A.......B and you get scared because B is closer and you want to move back to the more distant position. If you like him command his respect by being slightly more cordial for a slightly longer time than you are comfortable. This way you will find out if he respects you or is a desparate stocker out of control of his sex drive. If he is out of control of his sex drive he must be out of control of a lot of other things like getting training for a long term income,etc. Love must be tough. Respect comes first. Sex should be the last thing on your radar in building any friendship/relationship.

I think you wish it was something, and maybe if you pursue talking to him, you'll get what you want. But, I wouldn't advise making a big deal out of liking a lot of what he likes (vice versa)
