Listen... I won't lie to you.............anytime you get into medicine you are going to see blood, puke, poop, pus, mucous, weird stuff that grosses you out just because it looks weird, and you are liable to wear all of the above for an entire shift that you work. And... every doctor I have ever known has had to do some cutting, (minor surgical procedures), from time to time.
BUT.................................
oh yeah... you can get over that.
When you figure out that you are helping people by doing what your doing ... you will be fine.
In fact, I kind of like the idea of having a doctor that doesnt like to cut me up... lol.
I am a nurse... trust me, many dont even know they have a 'problem' with seeing that stuff until they face it the first couple of times... later they are right in there with everyone else doing the stuff that needs to be done.
I have been in healthcare for 17 years and still see stuff that makes me go .......... ewwwwwwwww....
which is rare but it happens....lol.
Takes a lot to get a reaction out of me but sometimes it just works out that way. A patient scores tons of points with me when they present with something that makes me ill. (Those are usually the best cases.).... lol.

You would paintings in a lab and be a Medical Laboratory Technologist which takes a B.S or B.A in technological know-how (amongst different matters) otherwise you would do what I'm doing and be a Medical Laboratory Technician that is an Associate Degree application. The technician works alongside facet the technologist and does lab checking out. Pay will depend on in which you reside.

Only surgeons & doctors in the Emergency Rooms do the cutting. Be a doctor that works in Internal Medicine or Orthopedics (bone doctor). Those doctors never see blood.

You still have to deal with all that stuff in medical school, so you either need to get over it or find a different profession.

By the way, even internal medicine docs do cutting - they "remove" things in the office, and orthopedic docs deal with orthopedic traumas and surgeries.
