I just change my cat's litter box with different litter. I used to use Members mark from Sams Club (scoopable) But now I am trying this kind called Tidy Cats (does not say). MY cat has been sitting right next to the litter box looking in it like there is something wrong. She went in it two times. I am not dumb but i felt like asking.

she may not like the smell or texture. Try to mix the old type with the new litter.

Mix the old litter up with the new litter, or maybe fill it with new litter but put a shallow layer of the old stuff on top. It will probably take your cat some time to adjust.
Tidy Cats is usually scoopable and clumping also, but if it looks like your old litter, then yes, it is definitely scoopable. :) Since you're just switching brands, your cat should get used to it eventually!

your cat probably does not like the litter box. it is used to the old one. just give the cat some time to adjust. that's what i had to do with my cat.

some cats don't like certain textures. my friends cat wouldn't go in the scoopable litter it was to powdery it like the stony feel of the non-scoopable

well maybe the cat thinks that something is wrong with the litter or he do sent like the smell of it.

Yeah. Mix equal parts of the old with the new for a while and as time goes by cut back on the old until theres nothinng left but the new. It's the same as when you want to switch foods.

Tidy cats has an awful lot of perfume in it, the box probably stinks to high heaven for her and she showed that it did.

a cat becomes accustomed to certain things being certain ways, and kitty does not like change...
this is the problem.
