I had adjusted my window size several days ago so I could have two open side-by-side. Now every time I open a new window, it's a narrow half-size. How do I tell Windows to make the default full size?

By default, Windows will open most programs to the default (or average, in this case) window size. You need to go into the property control after you've right clicked on a program. Under the "Run" option, select Maximum. It should open maximized unless the program window is a fixed size. Good luck.

maximize it and click file and exit. the next time you open up a window it should be in full size.

When you click on the Square next to your minimize button on the screen, does it still do this?
