if you bought a dualshock 3?

from japan would it work for USA ps3? the release date in japan is in november and i dont want to wait til spring

My guess is yes. I own US PS3 in Europe. I had to buy second sixaxis for it, bought european one - works. It's a bluetooth protocol. All the same everywhere.

i am guessing yes because the games are region free
