Okay, So I know that you can set up conditional formating for a cell to change the color of the font or background and so on. I know how to set up conditional formating to do so. What I'd like to know is if there is a way that excell will look at a date put into a cell, compare it to today's date and if there is more than a year's difference, then apply the conditional formating. Does anyone know if that is possible? Thanks for your help.

Ok, say you're date is in cell A1. In cell B1, put =today()-A1. Make sure you format B1 to be a number. You can then do your conditional formatting off the B1 cell. Make sure it says "formula is", and in the formula bar make it say =b1>365, and make your conditional formatting whatever you want. You can hide column B if you don't want to see it. Hope this helps.
