You mean brisket?
Yes, add water to cover. Cook on high about 6 hours.

We make a corned beef brisket a couple times a month. We just put in the corned beef brisket with the seasoning pack it came with. About 4-5 cups of water and a light beer. And then a quartered red onion, some garlic, and a couple quartered potatoes, and a couple bay leaves.
Just leave it on high for 7-8 hours and you have a perfectly tender brisket. And the leftovers are great for making hash the next day.

Put the corned beef and season packet in the crock pot and add about 1/4 cup low sodium beef broth. Cook on low about 8 hours or high for about 4 to 5 hours.

Well, it may be a little too late to fix it for supper tonight, since it needs to cook at least 8 hours. I usually put mine in the crockpot w/ some water (so it almost covers the meat) the spices included w/ the meat and maybe a bay leaf and some garlic. Put it on low for 8 hours. The meat should be tender when you poke it w/ a fork.
Good idea about the reubens! I think I need to make some of those! :)

I've never heard of corn beef noodles. I'm Irish and we have Corned Beef, Caggage, onions, potatos, carrots and soda bread for St Patty's day. I crock mine in a crock pot on low. I put the corned beef on the bottom, I sprinkle with the seasoning packet and top with potatos, carrots, onions and wedged cabbage. I cover the corned beef half way with 1/2 beer and 1/2 water and let soak/cook for the next 5 hours.

I put mine in with a little water and of all things... a beer. It seems to make the meat a little more tender and give it a little better flavor. I also use a little garlic, onion and mustard seed (dry mustard would work) and pepper. Corned beef has enough salt in it already.

Just dump the corned beef and set it on low if you start in the morning, or high if you start after lunch. you can add 1 to 2 cups of water, and if you add some sacrificial potatoes it will take out some of the saltiness. they are sacrificial because they will be to salty to eat and you just have to feed them to the dog(s).
