You and I are pretty similiar, but honestly how depressed do you get, I have learned through therapy, that I never was depressed, at least froma medical standpoint. Everyone gets depressed, and honestly you could just be stressed, in which try some meditation, or being more active, to work out your stress it works wonders. If you are having suicidal thoughts, you need to get to a doctor.

Another thing that came into play with my "Depresion." I was suffering froma severe lack of sleep, causing depression like symptoms. I do have anxiety and panic attacks but refuse the drugs, unless it is so bad I cannot get it under control mentally, you should try this, and then you will learn to tell yourself it is all in your head.

Here are somethings in your diet that may cause panic attacks as well, if you are suffering from anxiety.

Caffeine is a big one, also Niccotine, so if youe use either, cut back on them, or quit, I quit smoking and got much better, I also stopped drinking two cups of coffee, and now drink one, I still get them, but not nearly as much as I did before.

hi....

many counties in the US have county mental health programs, which are available free or on a sliding scale. these clinics will sometimes apply for grants for a person with low or no income, which provides for therapy and meds (if needed) to be paid for.

check your county phone directory. call the health dep't if you can't find a mental health clinic, specifically.

go to a free clinic and ask there. They will have some answers for you. But bipolar is high highs and very low lows. It is usually so that you have a hard time functioning in these peaks and valleys.
