I know Christians who actually think this. All of them are the kind of people who have had their minds seared with a branding iron. With a big D across their foreheads. D for dumb dogma. They can no longer think for themselves, but they do a good job of thinking for their poor, unsuspecting children. They end up scaring kids more that some stupid night. A night made for fun and free candy. You knock on a door, say trick or treat, thank you, then go home. It's as simple as that, and as innocent.

Halloween is a pagan holiday the night before is actually Hallows eve and the after is the day of the dead. A TRUE Christan would not celebrate that day But no I don't sit in the closet with a cross actually the sign of the cross is not very Christian at all and I do not use them to signify that I am a christian. any more stupid questions?

I believe that there are human and animal sacrifices during the high holy days, including Halloween. I don't celebrate Halloween, I do celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

Satan egged my chickens and tipped over three of my best cows last year. He is the very devil he is!

As others have pointed out, Halloween is a Christian tradition.
It does use the date of a previous pagan festival, but that change was made a long time ago.

Any Christian that feels that Samhain/Halloween is a Pagan Holiday and thus unacceptable. You had better toss any ideas for a Christmas/Yule Tree and you had better not celebrate December 25th because it too started as a Pagan Holiday. Until the Christians stole it for their Sun/Son God.

Some Christians view Halloween as a Pagan Holiday and so it is againtst the Bible so they take no part in it.

Others find it fun and harmless.

Do you just sit around in a closet and think this crap up? Do you really think Christians are afraid of their own shadow?

Believe it or not, Christians do participate in holidays, read novels, watch r-rated movies, and listen to Black Sabbath.

Instead of worrying about what others do, why not read a Bible, and figure things out for yourself instead of talking out your rear end.

All Hallows Eve to welcome the spirits of the dead and appease supernatural powers is a holiday of the Roman Catholic and Angelican churches. In America, it is more popular to do Fall Festivals in the Christian communities.

Well let's see here, I've had a pirate, Harry Potter, 'death', skeletons, and satan show up at my door telling me that if I didn't give them a treat they were going to play a trick on me. That pretty much sums it up and no I don't sit in my closet but I do keep my gate closed and the porch lights off now.

I'm a Christian, and my church has Halloween parties. I also attend charitable fundraisers every Halloween. I've never been against celebrating it.
