I wasn't close friends with them but they were popular regulars...they've seemed to dissapear. Anybody know what happened to these two individuals?

Loka is still around, just doesn't hang out in R&S anymore. Brett A still has an account, but hasn't posted in a while.
A lot of good folks go away, and for many reasons...

People also change their ids and avs, for various reasons. To avoid being targeted in a big reason I think, especially lately.
