I don't understand how people at my school sin and don't repent, and then they get all the girls, the friends, the general "better" life, if you know what I mean. Don't get me wrong, these people aren't bad people, quite the opposite really. They just aren't Christians and say and do things that would be sinning to a Christian.

But how can God give these people the things I, a Christian who's trying his hardest not to sin, have prayed to have for a long time? And I still don't have it! I don't get it.

Whatever joys those kids are experiencing is only temporary. There's more to life than drinking, having sex, smoking, and doing drugs. All of these things are going to affect them in the long run.
They could in the end have health issues, social issues, and psychological issues that could potentially lead them to a life far worse than what they are living now.

A Christian lives his life for the greater perspective, not just on the temporary plain, but for the eternal one. These kids are being deceived in their happiness, these things will NOT last and can only make them happy for a short period of time.

Following God gives you a sense of greater purpose, understanding, and a LONG-LASTING happiness in your life. Though your life may seem filled with trials, they are for the purpose of refining you into a being full of self worth, principle, and values fit for the kingdom of God.

Don't sweat it, it wasn't God. You didn't get the better life because you try so hard not to sin: I would say that your prayers were answered. God will not give you all the girls -- you will bind with only one, give her time. she'll show up; Seems your best friend is Divine, much preferable to all the others; and all the things that money can buy? God isn't going to give you that, so don't bother asking Him. If God gives you riches, it will be only so that you can spread the wealth around - feed the poor, clothe the naked, educate His children; stuff like that. If you are going to become a servant of God, don't expect the "good life" defined by dreams of silver.

The reason is because in a lot of cases the ppl that "sin" and do not go to church or feel sorry for a wrong done get everything on earth is because they don't care about others. You are a truely good person if you try to do what is right and not step on others toes to get your way. The ppl you are talking about will step on anybody in their way to get what they want. So you as a person have to decide if that is what you want for yourself. Hope I answered your question without making you think twice about being a good person and holding to your morals and religious beliefs.

It really depends on your definition of sin. Your intent is a better measure of the effect of your actions. So, if you said that those "sinful" people are actually aren't bad people, then thier intent is probably pretty good. People make mistakes, and that's ok, as long as you seek to correct them or refrain from doing them again in the future. If those people are downright nasty towards others and themselves, then they have bad intent, and, "what goes around, comes around". Often times, having a different perception of what is going on can help. I don't believe in sin per se, I go more with the "lack of love" definition of "sin" or just fustrated people having a bad day. If you have good heart, then generally, you will be protected and have a good life. Sounds to me like those you are looking at have good hearts. You also seem to have a good heart as well. Don't worry about "sin", people will define it as they wish. You know what is right in your heart, follow that.

Even though it looks like there getting all these great things, b/c your staying faithful to God you are going to get rewarded in Heaven. God will give you the desires of your heart but you have to be ready for it and he has to be able to trust you with it. Suppose you started talking to alot of girls at your school you will become more tempted to sin and might get distracted from God. Just stay prayerful.

Don't worry. I used to ponder the SAME, EXACT thing, its crazy! lol. But it's because God's testing us. He puts us believers through these trials, etc to prove that we believe. "Yes God. Even though i have no friends or boyfriend or girlfrien, or father, etc., I will still believe in you, i will still pray, Yet and still will i love you God, and clap my hands, and shout HALLELUJAH all the days of my life, because I believe." As for them, God blesses them and puts them on a high high pedastool, so when the time is right, God'll take the pedastool from under them & they'll fall much harder & have no choice but to turn to God. The only one that can help them. The one that will never leave nor forsake them. That's why. & they dont have better lives dude. They have better facades.

I know it is discouraging, that's only realistic. Even David wrote about it, how the evil prosper, but he also wrote that it is better 1 day in his kingdom, that a 1000 else where. Remember this, "what does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and loses his soul" If you die this day, you will be with our lord and Savior forever and ever and ever. Nothing is worth more than that. How many who got the girl can say that?

They get things themselves not from God.....And their life is not better then yours unless all you care about is the desires of the flesh yourself... When peter wakes up one day with an STD because he got all the girls where will he be then? You need to look at your life as being free not that it is dull and without excitement.. You will understand better when you get older and appreciate the fact that you had God on your side and not selfishness!

satan is the God of this world. He is into instant gratification. Ever seen "the devil's advocate" good movie. Pretty good picture I would say. God's people must have patience they will inherit all good things from the Father.
