First of all.... RELAX! Breeding does not now nor ever did cost four thousand dollars minimum.
Your vet could do an ultrasound now for about fifty dollars, but I prefer to wait until 8 weeks and have an x ray done. It just shows better.

If she is six weeks pregnant it is way too early for her to be in labor and if she is there is no way the puppies will survive. Gestation for dogs is 58-63 days. She is at day 45. You need to take her temp and track it everyday once you see a significant drop below 98 she will be having her pups within 24 hours. Also if she was due to whelp she would be finding somwhere to hide unless you have a whelping box. Im not sure how you obtained a pregnant dog but please spay her after only peoplr who show there dogs should be able to breed.

*I* would take her to the vet and do an x-ray of her on day 57 from the first breeding. This will tell you a couple of things including:
How many
How big
How soon (how well calcified are they)
Edit: BTW.. if the dog needs a c-section she can be spayed at the same time.

the duration of a dogs pregnancy is 60 days. you should be able to tell by now if she is pregnant. a week or so before she has them you could get an x-ray to see how many there are but you might as well wait until she has them

Why breed your dog if you don't know anything about a dog's gestation and whelping periods? You think she is 6 weeks pregnant, yet you STILL haven't been to the vet?? If she is 6 weeks pregnant, she is due in 2-3 weeks and should have been checked out by a vet several weeks ago. Shame on you!

THEY CAN BE CHECKED BY A VET AT 4 WEEKS
THEY START TO SHOW AT 4-5 WEEKS AND ONLY CARRY FOR 63 DAYS GIVE OR TAKE.
iF THE MALE WAS LARGER THAN THE FEMALE YUOU REALLY NEED TO HAVE HER CHECKED BY A VET AS WITH HER SIZE THERE COULD BE BIRTHING PROBLEMS.
yOU SHOULD ALSO TALK TO YOUR VET ABOUT WORMING AND VACINATIONS. I AND MANY BREEDERS WORM MOM AND PUPS AT 2,4,6,AND 8 WEEKS AND VACCINATIONS SHOULD START AT 6 WEEKS BUT PUPS ARENT' READY TO GO ANY TIME BEFORE THEY ARE 8 WEEKS

Your vet can run ultrasound tests on your dog just like they do for people. Usually, yorkies only have 1-2 puppies in a litter and that is if the mother and puppies survive. Breeding costs about $4,000 at the minimum so i hope you're prepared for that.

Have you taken her to the vet for an ultrasound? He'll know now...Talk to him about a C-section, because little dogs often need them.....
While you're there, make an appointment to have her spayed in 10-12 weeks...If you don't know how to tell if she's pregnant, then you shouldn't be breeding her anymore.

Perhaps you should have researched this stuff BEFORE allowing your dog to breed?
Consult with your vet, they will be able to answer all your questions.
