In the past I have had Jack Russells, Great Danes, a Springer Spaniel, a Standard Poodle and a Springer x Border Collie.
I currently have two Weimaraners, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Staffy.
Our of all the breeds I have had my favourite has to be the Rhodesian Ridgeback. She is just adorable!

Golden Retreivers by far are the most loving, caring, protective, low maintenance dogs. My mom has 3 and they are absolutely wonderful.
I myself have an American Bulldog (female) who is also a wonderful dog. I dont think they do well with small children, and need to be socialized YOUNG. Ours has issues with meeting new people, and is very territorial. She is extremely loving, and very protective. Also, very jealous.
So if you have a family with small children get a Golden. If you are single or in a relationship (just 2 of you), I would get an American Bulldog.
Just my opinion .. I know some of you will agree and disagree ..

My favourite dog is my Staffie Labrador cross, she`s so well behaved, loving and love able.

There is no favourite breed for me. They are all daft tarts with too much charm and too little guile.
I know their affection is entirely opportunistic but it is completely effective. I knuckle the inside of their floppy ears and watch their eyes close in rapture...who cares what breed they are...they are the greatest assimilators in the history of this planet. For that alone they deserve our love.

I have a staffy cross and he is adorable.....I really love mongrels as they are much more hardy than pedigrees......Our last dog Cabal was also a lab cross and she lived till 16....This one Max is a rescue dog now 13weeks and learning fast...........

My favorite breed of dog is papillons the butterfly dogs there gorgeous also the phalene a drop eared papillon

Boxer for sure! I've had all kinds, Akita, Lab, Shi Tsu, Dalmation, Rottweiler, Pitts, Cocker Spaniel, Golden Retriever. It doesn't matter, because Boxers are the best!!!!
