Liquid chlorophyll is a detoxifying agent and is supposed to actually remove heavy metals from your body to some extent. Heavy metals inlude toxic mercury, arsenic, lead and cadmium.

Selenium also helps a bit as it reacts with mercury to form mercury selenide which your body eliminates. Two Brazil nuts a day will give you 200 mcg of selenium a day. More than 200 mcg of selenium a day is not recommended as too much selenium is toxic.

Yes. Lead is a heavy metal, and the fact that it stays in your body is the reason paint is no longer made with lead.

Yes, I am in the process of doing a heavy metal detox (oral chelation) and then I am having all my fillings replaced. It will remove mercury but I am not sure about lead.

Lead poisoning is very very dangerous to children. It builds up over time, although I'm unsure if it cleanses out. Mercury does cleanse out, but takes an extreme amount of time, it appears that lead is the same way.

It appears that the older you are, the less negative the affects are, the younger you are (ie-infants/toddlers), the more dangerous it is.
