Is it possible to put our petty differences behind us, to truly focus on the big picture? The color of our skin does not create a threat. Why are we so wrapped up with racism in our country when we should be focusing on illegal immigration, and politics? White people-- Black people aren't taking your jobs. Black people-- Whites do not look down on you for your heritage. Illegals are taking our jobs and they are looking down on you for your heritage. We are all americans, that is our heritage, and illegals are coming over and exploiting the land we worked so hard to preserve. Turning on eachother is not going to regain the rights we deserve. Can we unite and form a strong, invincible union?

There should be hate... towards the illegals. They should not be here and americans should be joining up to form a sound identity that is strong enough to force these pests out!

Also, when it comes to illegal immigrants, there is not another solution other then deporting them. I stand firm on my beliefs, and I will not make compromises to allow these law-breakers to remain in our country. MRS. DEPP needs to take a closer look at society and the issues that engulf it. This is purely about American vs. Non american, and those who side with the non american. I don't know about you, but I want the opportunity to prosper in america, the way every hard working american dreams. Our future is diminishing at this rate. Please educate yourself, you can make a difference.

Gasguy is paying attention, and I'm glad to see that at least someone is. Government is a HUGE problem with why the illegals are here in the first place. Thats why all americans need to combine, and overtime the current ways of living. Gov't officials are strictly out for the big business and not middle class. I do blame our politians for the funding we give the illegals, but you know what, we are the ones who vote for the politians! Thank you for those of you who do understand though :)

We have white power, black power, and Latin power
Question is, where is American Power? Or Power of the People. We all come together during tragic events, why does it take tragic event for us to come together as a people? Why can’t we do this on our own, without tragedy, for the good of American Power, i.e. red, white and blue?
We have given up to much already, it’s time for all powers to recognize that American power is most important, and saving America through action is needed, or there might not be an America, if we keep growing more and more divided. It won’t matter where you live or how much money you have; all this will be meaningless, if we don’t fix the foundation on what all this is was built upon, America and its values, we will have no future.
Politics has driven a wedge between us, they divide us on purpose, so the Politicians can try to control us. And because of this, some of you are questioning the very idea of who you are, just because someone calls you a meaningless name, and the very definition of the word racist changes weekly to suite the Political need of the time. But they are wrong. The more we talk about this the more we realize that it is just nonsense. We must put aside these type of politics, for real. If you are reading this and say “oh, just another rant about race”, you missed the point of the message. Change starts with you. When you decide that you will put aside this division, then in turn you will strip the power of these political types and media hounds. And their message of division will not fade away like the pet rock. It is that easy.
Will you commit to putting aside this division, or will you just wait for the end result to interrupt your prefect life.
Every race should be proud of their history, no race has a prefect record. I have been called a racist because I want people living American to speak English. This word racist, what does it really mean anyway? It used to mean that you didn't like blacks, now it means you don’t like illegal aliens, and wanting secure borders is also somehow a racial issue. What will it mean next week...? It is only a word used to give power to those seek to control us.

Well it sounds like the two of you rushed into the relationship and really didn't get enough time to really get to know each other. At this point it sounds as though you are pretty much over your husband's attitude and the relationship. You can give it one more try and if it does not work out then move on; you seem to have your plan for leaving him somewhat already thought out.

No not until we all are willing to accept each other without prejudice and let folks live with their own ideas and stop judging each others actions or way of life .Acceptance is the only way for this to happen. And we must not blame others because we failed to make the grade. Life is what we make it and if we are lazy and do nothing then we get nothing. Greed is a second problem to solve. Humans will never agree or accept as this is how we are

Turn on eachother? I think Black America needs to wake up and move on. Whites (the non-KKK variety) are over it and consider every one equal as can be. Black society still jumps at the chance to claim racism and everything which happens to a black person happens to them because they are black. They never factor in the reality of the situation. Like in Jena, Louisiana, they dont think the boy was arrested because he actually deserved to be in jail. No he was there simply because he was BLACK. And the media doesnt help. They failed to mention key points, like the boys prior criminal problems and change parts of the situation to exacerbate black america. And ofcourse blacks jump up, because as Jesse "Hypocrit" Jackson says, "There's a Jena in every State" Meaning, send me money cause whitey is still after you.
I think Bill Cosby was right. Black america will improve when black america wants to. once they shift their priorities off rims, speakers and bling-bling and onto education etc. maybe their position in this world will improve.

i would disagree this is the only thing i have seen that has brought U.S. citizens together despite their color and plenty of legals are opposed to illegal immigration. you need to go to other sites and you'll see american indians, blacks, asians, whites, latinos and plenty of legals all say go home. here's are the complaints i have seen expressed by the different ethnic groups. american indians had meth introduced to their reservations, blacks are having to compete for already meager subsidies, asians have family they are waiting for to immigrate legally, whites same issues as others, latinos because illegals are being coached on what lies to tell to take advantage of U.S. benifits. the biggest thing is that despite what pro legals say illegals only pay in $1.00 in taxes but get $3.00 dollars benefit from our government. multiply that by 12 to 21 million. uneducated illegals are a burden to our society, over 95% of the U.S. citizens realize it, and in that we are in agreement despite the color of our skin. thie links support what i say.

you know cutie everything you say makes sense but what about our government? our government lets these people in and gives them free health care and don't have to pay taxes. we need to unite and overthrow our corrupted government. they are the ones that have shut down our steel mills and candy factories etc. and those same companies have left our states for cheaper labor in another country. look at china with all the problems going on with recalling of our toys having lead base paint in them!

It's not a question of race...it's a question of legal and illegal.
Do we want an orderly nation of laws or one of chaos? One can't pick and choose which laws they want to obey.
I think Americans CAN unite...HOWEVER, Illegals aren't citizens. They need to be deported...each and every one. They appear to WANT us divided. A divided enemy is a weak one, after all.

Hmmm... In the area I live, skin color doesn't matter one bit. I really haven't seen too many racial problems here in the past several years. If anything, we are sticking together due to language. Its become English vs. non-English speaking groups.
