When it is sunk it is to late to have thunk about strategies to prevent it from being sunk. If it is a political ship it will have sunk under the weight of it's bunk which then should remain safely locked in a trunk.

the rumor was around when I was in the Navy I am not sure if it is true or not I was never able to find proof to back it up. I feel it is a rumor as old as the United States Navy itself and should be taken with a grain of salt as the saying goes.
