The russians are great. They take action when necessary, and they move fast and decisively. I have no idea what you are talking about.
The russian invasion of Afghanistan was repelled by US intervention. How would we feel to discover the Taliban was being armed by the russians now? They aren't doing it, because no one likes the Taliban.

Dont underestimate the Russians. Hitler and the Wehrmarkt did and all it do was to get wiped out after a couple of years of slogging. Rusia didnt get to be the size it was because all of those people and countries volunteered to join it. They may not be as strong as the US but in the early 80s they had a good chance at beating us. If it went nuke. everyone lost.

Afghanistan, on the heels of their funding of North Vietnam, caused the fall of the Russian Empire. They have learned the hard way to try and mind their own business. As for all talk, NOONE has ever sucessfully invaded Russia.
