The symbol appears after a Feature Control Frame and is a circle with a vertical line going through the center and it is black on one side and white on the other. Looks exactly like the "contrast" button on a monitor. It doesn't really affect me at the moment, but now my curiousity is piqued. Anyone know what this symbol represents?

Can't say I've came across that one either. Only place seen that is on SCADA HMI monitor and it's for constrast. Brightness is circle with horizonal line and hafl black on top.

Oops take that back have seen it before. Half dark smybol of photo eye on an automatic cutting rig used to cut steel patterns out of plate steel.
I've also seen it on printing presses used to align the paper and print
