I find it interesting and telling that the WBTS puts its self above God's own voice...the rest of this failed prophecy is below...Notice the YEAR........
1923 "Our thought is, that 1925 is definitely settled by the Scriptures. As to Noah, the Christian now has much more upon which to base his faith than Noah had upon which to base his faith in a coming deluge." The Watchtower, page 106 4/1/23.
"Christian has much more upon which to base his faith than Noah had to base his faith in a coming Deluge".
DO you realise the arrogance of the WBTS putting it's prophecy above the very direct voice of God? Did this prophecy come true? It is very much time to wake up and STOP folowing Man.

Which WT is that from?
In Noah's day it had never rained, yet God told him to build an ark! That took a lot of so-called BLIND faith.
Now-a-days, we have the Bible and the many examples and fulfilled prophecies on which to help build our faith.
The world is not going to be destroyed again as it was in Noah's time, so I'd like to look at the WT in question to see how you've misunderstood the reference.
The world of wicked mankind is to be destroyed as it was in Noah's day (meaning the wicked people then were killed by the flood, not tortured... and when the wicked are destroyed in the future it will be complete as well) and the righteous will inherit the earth.
Please tell me truthfully if you are an apostate in the eyes of the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Your name is similar to an apostate website which is why I ask.

I can't think of any better basis for faith than God speaking directly to you, can you? Can the faithful and discrete slave claim this? They say no, they do not have some hotline to God. All we Christians have to base our faith on is the Bible, which, we believe came from God, but we are equally aware that sometimes meanings can get lost in translation; the poor old JW's have a corrupted version which must demand a lot of faith, of course we know that they place their faith in the Watchtower society first and foremost. As for the prophecies which someone mentioned, oh dear, the society has failed woefully many times on that score, so how can anybody place their faith in them. So, in answer to your question, I would say that todays Christian has far less evidence upon which to place our faith than Noah had. God only speaks to us through the written word and in our hearts which demands absolute faith if we are to believe and be saved.

It's not saying that Noah didn't know anything or that he was in the dark (notice the words MUCH MORE, so that means he obviously had a lot to base his faith on to begin with), but what it's saying is since Noah's day, more Bible prophesies were written and then fulfilled. Thats what it's saying. So since those prophecies have been fulfilled, it's easier to put faith in other Bible prophecy.

All you're finding for right this is somebody to agree which incorporate your ignorant "assertion", which isn't something yet a rant against Jehovah's Witnesses. For shame..... It shows which you have little-to-no actually information approximately Jehovah's Witnesses. For one ingredient, Jehovah's Witnesses ARE Christians. for yet another, the chief of Jehovah's Witnesses is Jesus Christ, who would not make errors of interpretation. basically hate-spreading cult contributors jointly with your self can no longer admit that the errors Jehovah's Witnesses have made interior the previous are incredibly minor because of the fact they have not been approximately uncomplicated Bible doctrine. you besides mght can no longer admit that Jehovah's Witnesses' are guided with the aid of Jehovah as evidenced with the aid of their international preaching interest, and the reality that basically Jehovah's Witnesses have the Christian love between themselves in all the earth that Jesus himself stated might discover them as his authentic followers. You and your hate group buddies forget approximately that for the duration of choose of your satanic time table of spreading hate and lies and fake accusations against Jehovah's Witnesses.

Noah was a wise man and he listened what God talked to him. It took him over 120 years to built that arch.

looked at all the answers..haven't seen anyone talk about no one will know the day of His return...it's one thing to say we are living in days of prophecy...but to actually say...look out..he's coming in 1925, well...that's when the trouble begins.
1) only false prophets actually pick a date for everyone to watch for,
2) when said date comes and goes...stop listening to them as prophets of God.

I am honestly not sure where you are leading with this, but I am very curious to find out. I know the jw's do say that.
It's not like Noah was completely in the dark though - didn't god talk to him directly? I could be completely wrong..... idk :)
